Shopping for My Mom’s Birthday
My mom’s birthday is coming up at the end of the month and I’m trying to figure out what to give her as a gift. She’s a very athletic woman and is definitely not the girliest girl around. I am the exact opposite so I always have a hard time shopping for her. I love to shop for clothes, shoes, purses, and jewelry, basically anything girly, but my mom isn’t interested in any of that. I love her but I always dread my mom’s birthday because I know that it will be a struggle to decide what to get her. I usually end up buying her a gift certificate to a restaurant, which she appreciates but I feel like it’s a cop-out and not very personal. I just bought her women’s golf gloves for Christmas, which was a great gift for my mom but now I’m completely out of ideas! I hate that her birthday is so close to Christmas because it doesn’t give me much time to brainstorm!
